Who am I?

An artist, a cook, a traveller

That's me when I water my artificial plants

Originally from Pakistan, currently living in Toronto, Canada with my husband and my puppy. I am a total foodie and I love to cook. Oh and I love to talk. I feel like I didn't say that quite right, I LOOOOVE TO TALK, hehe :) I am a people's person and I make friends quite easily. Don't believe me, try dropping me a text :)

On to my background, I have a PhD (summa cum laude) in Human-Computer Interaction from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. My research was mainly focused on making the design process of designers easier by using Artificial Intelligence, UI design patterns and accessibility guidelines.

I am a certified professional for UX Management (NNg), UX Research, Requirement Engineering (IREB) and Usability & User Experience (UXQB). In the last 8 years, I have applied this knowledge in various research and industry projects in numerous domains working with people from over 20 countries.

How do I work?

I conduct research for all stages of the product development process: from open explorations in the discover phase to validation oriented research in the deliver phase.

What methods do I use?

I utilize a broad toolkit of UX research methods. I select the appropriate method based on stakeholder input and the research questions we are trying to answer.

UX Method Cards

To help in selecting the best research method, I always refer to the IDEO's deck of UX method cards. I often use these cards in kickoff meetings and workshops with stakeholders to decide the best way to approach the research.
